Rear carbon sheave box with leech and reef sheaves
Axxon designs and builds carbon booms from pre-impregnated carbon, cured under pressure in autoclaves at 125°C using precision female molds.
Our standard boom range features over 11 different sections, perfectly suited for yachts up to 80 feet.
Designed with cruising sailors in mind, it delivers an ideal balance of performance, reliability, and value.
The Max Depth boom is engineered to minimize weight while maintaining exeptioneal stiffness in both bending and torsion.
Its deep narrow profile is specifically designed for high-performance racing.
The Park Avenue boom is notable for its streamlined design. Its very low profile allows the mainsail to be stored directly inside the boom, making handling and stowing the sail much easier.
It’s designed for yachts where storage space and high-quality finish are top priorities.
These V-shaped booms make mainsail storage easy while giving your yacht a sleek, stylish look.
They are built from three monolithic beams of unidirectional HR carbon fibre (235 GPa), connected by a carbon-foam sandwich for strength and lightness.
The mainsail rolls smoothly inside the boom, powered either by an electric motor (Reckmann 24V DC) or a hydraulic drive (Reckmann), making handling effortless.
Designed specifically for cruising yachts, these booms combine performance, convenience, and elegance.
The low weight of Axxon Booms enhances the boat’s stability and performance.
While their high stiffness allows for precise control of the sail shape
They are low-maintenance and contribute to a lower rig center of gravity, further improving handling and efficiency.
